Dean Arnott Jr.

Dean D. Arnott Jr., age 65, of Merrill, passed away while driving truck across the North Carolina coast on March 10, 2025. He was born on July 10, 1959, to the late Dean and Joan (Rohloff) Arnott in Tomahawk. Dean attended and graduated from Tomahawk High School.

Dean loved and cherished his family, and would faithfully talk with sister, Jill, at least once a day. He was currently an over the road truck driver for Lincoln Wood Products in Merrill. Dean also owned and operated his own company, Arnott Freightway. He enjoyed trucking and seeing the countryside. Dean was also a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, taking a ride whenever possible! He loved his life, his friends and family and was very kind-hearted.

Dean passed away doing what he loved, just as he had wanted.

Dean is survived by sisters: Joan Vasquez (Terry Hagar), Jill (Ron) Shaw and June Arnott, brothers: Dave Arnott and Donn Arnott (Lindsay Mae Demski), uncle: Dale Arnott, aunt: Kathy Krueger, numerous nieces and nephews and lots of good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Dean’s wishes, no service will be held, but family is planning to take him for one last ride to all of his favorite places.
