Dennis L. Parshall

Dennis Leroy Parshall, born March 17, 1930, to Otis and Gertrude (Lange) in Tomahawk, passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2025, in Irma, WI surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis is survived by his wife Darlene (West), whom he married on December 4, 1955. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and service.

Dennis is survived by his six children: Sheri McCutcheon (Kevin) of Port Washington, WI; Don Parshall, Germantown WI, Tom Parshall of Mequon WI, Kevin Parshall (Robin) of Rhinelander WI, Jeff Parshall (Amanda) of Jupiter FL and Jon Parshall of Irma WI. He is also the grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Dennis honorably served his country as a US Army medic during the Korean War. After his military service, he pursued a teaching career and retired from the Mequon-Thiensville School District after 40 years of service. In retirement he served a term as a Lincoln County Supervisor and was active in the Irma Lions Club.

Dennis was an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

The funeral service for Dennis will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral and Cremation Services at 301 Eagle Drive, Merrill. Military honors will be performed at the cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dennis’s memory to the Merrill Lions Club.
