Peter Michael Schoetz, age 61, passed away peacefully at the family lake house in Three Lakes, Wisconsin on August 14, 2022. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for a year. He was born on June 19, 1961, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to parents Michael Lavern Schoetz and Ruth Elizabeth (Ryan).
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lavern, and sister, Mari Lynn. Pete is survived by his mother, Ruth, sister, Julie Cooper (James), step-niece, Natalie Cooper, and many aunts, uncle, cousins, Shoeder RV and Marine Family and the Woodies Racing Family.
Pete’s various careers brought him to many parts of the United States, including Rockford, Dallas, San Jose, Boston, Atlanta, and finally Rhinelander. His career covered many avenues: printing/publishing, professional fisherman, fishing guide, boat, RV, camper, snowmobile salesman, President of Adrenaline Photography and finally team photographer for Woodies Racing.
His passions over the years were for motor cross racing, snowmobile racing, fishing, boating, cycling, archery, shooting sports and riding his Harley. Photography of many kinds of events were late talents he developed, including those for snow cross and motor cross.

To honor Pete’s wishes there will not be a service, a memorial gathering may be announced in the future.
